Three Monkeys - Another favorite, this bar is all about fun. Great music from resident DJ Minty and wild drinks. Pool table, darts, big screen TV, internet access and so much more. Swing by and make friends with the wild, wild staff.

Casa Rosa - Get Stuffed! Down at the New Look Casa Rosa that is. Always popular with travelers, they have a great menu full of fantastic food at very affordable prices. With all you can eat and special nights, you'll never be hungry no matter how tight your budget. The bar is fully loaded, cocktails, shooters, shocks and beers with happy hour specials. There are a large selection of free table games and, oh yes, watch out for the staff's alternative humor.
The Jam - This funky little bar sits between the Three Monkeys and the Old Tavern. The music is varied and there are nightly deals on drinks. Call in and let Paula and her crew look after you.

Whyte's Bar - This bar can be really wild offering pints of cocktails and the infamous 9 deadly sins shot challenge. Downstairs is a basement dance floor that is heaving until 2am.


DC's - The name stands for Depth Chargers which is the favorite drink of owners Gui and Zé. If you don't know what one is or have never tried one here is your chance. This bar is new to 2006 with a very nice refurbishment. The bar has good music and fun staff. There are plasma TV's for sports events, dart board and a great clean and luxurious feel.

Stevie Ray's - This is a live music lounge. The artists who play there are varied and of a very high standard. The surroundings and decor are luxurious and comfortable. If you love music you must visit this quality venue. Look out for Friday nights with DJ TobyOne and his musician guests, always entertaining.



Johno's Bar - This bar is kitted out nicely with surfboards for signage and salutes to the Munster Rugby Club. There is big screen TV for sports events that is turned off when not needed. They have a pool table that sits in it's own area so players and patrons don't clash. So sit yourself at the beautiful natural wood bar and enjoy a cocktail, draft Magner's or something else from the varied menu.

South Bar - Situated in Lagos Marina, open all day SouthBar is a friendly bar with a wide selection of beverages from an early morning coffee and croissant to a late night cocktail. Take advantage of our Happy Hour from 5pm till 7pm whilst enjoying the spectacular views over the marina, especially the breathtaking sunsets. We have a pool table and 2 big screens where we show any of the top sport events and a wireless facility if you ever need to link to the internet. Galo - This small and friendly bar is a great place any time of the evening. The interior is stylish with attention to detail. The works of art which line their walls change on a regular basis keeping the bar interesting. The house DJ's play well suited music - chilled tunes earlier heading to livelier beats as the night grows.

Nahnahbah - Is a cool, chilled out bar, a great place to hang out with friends. Sofas and chairs add to the comfort amidst the artistic decor. Be sure to try the excellent Bottom Line Cocktail, a potent mix of spirits, juice and fresh mint. WOW! Also a great place to eat with fresh, delicious food at great prices.



Eddie's Bar - A well established bar with an eclectic array of music. Located on the main drag this bar finds itself packed in the season with travelers and the golf set alike. Know to the locals as the Lagos house of Jagermeister. Check out there cool new website.



RedEye bar is a popular watering hole open from 8 till 2am. Cool place to hang out early play pool, darts or watch sky sports...but be warned this is for serious party people the guys down there offer a huge range of drinks including 2 for 1 Cocktails and great music all night..



Zanzibar - One of our favorite late night haunts (open until 4am) crowded and funky. Friendly Lucinda, the owner, dotes on all of her customers and will make you feel at home (wherever that may be).



Joe's Garage - Good sized place with two large bars. Pool table and darts, huge range of shots and cocktails. Very busy at weekends. Check out the barbecue nights and snack menu.

Inside Out - Go early to enjoy drink specials, a game of pool or one of their legendary fishbowls. Watch as this bar/lounge transforms into an all night dance party.



Stones Bar - Put your fate in the hands of Kev and Will and you will be treated to a wide range of good rock and blues music and cocktails. Check out the jugs of long island ice tea, wow!



Vitaminas - Sitting on the popular Rua 25 de Abril between Stones Bar and Bom Vivant, Vitaminas has always been famous for it's special cocktails. Add this with music from house DJ for a good night.



Bom Vivant - You can't miss this bar with it's eye catching exterior. Inside there are three floors and a tropical roof garden. This late night disco bar is very popular with the locals, a good place to hit when the bars are closed.



Mullen's - One of the oldest established restaurant/bars in town.This place is cavernous, spend the whole night...start with a meal and stay in your seat as it transforms into a bar with chilled tunes and later join the crowds dancing in the aisles. Watch out for the live music nights with performances by well known local musicians.

The Irish Rover - This bar caters to a wide range of customers. It has a large selection of imported beers in it's bounty of drinks. It also has one of the best air conditioning systems in town, so a great place to sit and cool off. All this and a large karaoke set-up, make this a bar for all the family. Tel: 282-768033



Shaker Bar - This bar has just changed hands and has received a much needed face-lift. There are laptop computers on the bar that are free to use. Bright and friendly Shaker offers goods sounds and excellent cocktails.



The lounge makes the best caipirinhas in town, sit back and sip one while you listen to the international DJs at work. With snacks and couches this is a chilled place to hang out.

The Old Tavern - Very large bar offering pool and darts. The bar has been taken over once again by the original owners and is focusing on the slightly older patron. They have a massive selection of delicious cocktails that are on 2 for €6 special between 9 - 11pm. They also have an all night happy hour for their beer, where you can have a large beer for €2 and a small for €1. Fresh fruit Daiquiris £10 per jug and shot €2 all night, Now there's a good deal!



Bahia Beach Bar - Popular sand coloured beach bar on the Meia Praia beach. Great food served from 12 - 20hrs and until 22hrs on Sundays when Zé Manuel's band gets everybody dancing. Best caipirinhas in town and the sangria is not to be missed either! Sandwiches, salads, stir fries, tapas and more as well as yummie daily specials. Volleyball games occur on most days and anyone is welcome to join. Definitely the place to spend your days!

Grande Café - This is a lovely nightclub on the second floor reached by a cobbled stair way. It has a gothic feel including resident gargoyles on the walls. It has a really ambient atmosphere lots of places to sit and enjoy a drink and the chill out sounds. Watch out for special guest DJ nights too. Definitely a favorite with us.



Rosko's - The bar is currently closed and looking for new owners. We'll keep you posted on the development.

Phoenix - Head down Travessa do Cotovelo opposite the 3 Monkeys it's only 100 metres.
Phoenix is a fair sized club with a dance floor down stairs. Up stairs there is seating and a balcony that looks down onto the dance floor, this place is usually packed on Friday and Saturday and plays a mix of dance/house music. There is a admission fee but your first drink is free
