Lagos has a lot of things to do and look at. Also we are close to lots of other interesting towns and attractions. When you have explored Lagos under your own steam, maybe you would like to employ the services of some of the local businesses that can show you even more.
Walking Tours Algarve offer FREE walking tours to everyone. The routes are all at the lake Barragem da Bravura, 14 km outside of Lagos, at the reservoir dam. You can download the walks for nothing from Their website: www.walkingtoursalgarve.com
Free copies of the walks are also available at the local restaurant Hansel & Gretel on the parking of the Barragem da Bravura. With walks and trails from 2 to 11 km, there is a option to suit everyone.
Mountain biking is possible on the longer routes.
The Sidecar Experience -
Dolphin Seafaris operate 7 boat trips a day between 8am and 8pm from Marina de Lagos and Marina de Portimao in search of dolphins and other forms of Algarvian sea life such as whales, sharks and even orcas. Each safari lasts around 1 and a half hours and offers a spectacular sea view of the world famous Algarvian coast line as well as the deeper offshore waters where the dolphins are to be found. An incredible experience for all the family, one not to be missed!
